Competition organized by davidblair
I am going to run the 2016 species hunt competition. Forum only, don't send me stuff on facebook. Going along the same guidelines as previous species hunts. Either solo or up to a team of 3. Inter sponsorships, sponsored teams, solo novices or you and your lover. Team mates can be spread across the country. It's all just a bit of fun. It's going to be reset each quarter and a prize given to the team/person with the most species caught each quarter and your name up in lights. The prizes are out of my own pocket so don't expect super dooper prizes. UK kayak caught species only. This can be a mix of fresh or salt, mini species too. Anything that swims in our rivers, lochs (lakes), seas, ponds, canals etc. You get the drift. As long as rod caught from a kayak it counts. Brown & sea trout are different species. Slob trout either counts as brown or sea trout. If a salmon caught I need to see a photo to decipher between sea trout and salmon. If a fish is 50/50 between species. It's my decision. Photo has to be taken beside fish clearly showing you are afloat on a kayak. No photos of fish off the water please. I need to be able to see its genuine. Catch reports in by Mondays each week so I can update league tables. Please send catch reports to kayakfishingscotland@yahoo.com The photocard will be uploaded on here on hogmanay when it's dark outside. I can also post you a laminate card at the cost of postage. (via PayPal f&f) If you fancy it then please email me with your team members AA names and what your team is called. Cheers Dave
