Hey guys, has anyone tried mounting a transducer off the very stern of a Fisha500? I'm thinking of making up a small bracket to attach to it so I can lift and lower the tranny when entering or leaving the water. specifically thinking of the Raymarine Dragonfly FF, with the long skinny round transducer. Cheers Wayne

Hi, Seems like you received no response since. Where are you planning to install it exactly? How are you planning to fix the bracket to this part?

Hey there btreize I was hoping to use the 2 screws on the back handle to mount a strip of aluminium that can act has part of a hinge to hang the transducer off. Then secure it with a rubber bungee on either side, that will hold it against the back of the stern. Still a work in progress as I've yet to buy a FF. I have a mate who may have a surplus FF/Plotter so waiting on that to come through. I'll post the setup once I have it working well.

Why not mount inside the hull? Out of the way when you have a heavy landing.
